ChamberChoice Process
The following points outline the steps and the events of the ChamberChoice Program:
- All Chamber member firms are encouraged to nominate their own or another Chamber-member firm for a ChamberChoice Award.
- All firms nominated for ChamberChoice Awards will receive a letter of congratulations and will be asked to complete an application form. Applications will be verified and ranked by an independent panel of judges selected by the Chamber. Application deadline is 5 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2008.
- All firms that complete and return an application form will be recognized at the ChamberChoice Reception sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Thursday, March 13.
- At the March 13 ChamberChoice Reception, the names of the top three companies in each category will be announced. These nine companies will all receive ChamberChoice Awards at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Luncheon, May 21.
- Thursday, April 3, The ChamberChoice recipients will be honored at the Spotlight Breakfast where they will have the opportunity to showcase their business.
- Wednesday, May 21 at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Luncheon, all nine companies will receive their ChamberChoice Awards. Highlighting the event will be announcement of the top-rated company in each of the three categories. In other words, one company will be named the Small Business of the Year, one company will be named the Business of the Year and one company will be named the Not-For-Profit of the Year.
