ChamberChoice Award Criteria   

ChamberChoice Awards are intended to recognize growth, innovation, creativity, community leadership and achievements related to a specific business or industry. To be eligible for a ChamberChoice Award, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

Small Business of the Year

• A minimum of three employees with a maximum of ten employees
• Must be a for-profit business headquartered in the Fargo Moorhead region

• A minimum of 11 employees with a maximum of 250 employees
• Must be a for-profit business headquartered in the Fargo Moorhead region

• Must be a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in the Fargo Moorhead Region

Additional criteria for all categories

• Be a current member in good standing of the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead
• In business for a minimum of three years
• Show growth in sales, services and/or growth in number of individuals served and/or expanded programs and services
• Demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices
• Demonstrate a commitment to employee support and development
• Demonstrate corporate citizenship and/or community leadership (including Chamber activities)

The ChamberChoice Awards are designed to recognize the important role small businesses and not-for-profits play in our local economy. Through the program, organizations are recognized for growth, innovation and creativity, community leadership, and achievements relating to specific business or industry.
