Moorhead Municipal Airport (218.287.1400) Moorhead Aviation - Fixed Based operator: Services available M - F; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Self service fuel available 24/7. Aircraft maintenance; hangars available; overnight security; arrival/departure area open 24 hours.

Hawley Municipal Airport (218.483.3331) provides a 3,406 foot asphalt runway and accommodates single-engine planes. Hangars are available for rent.

Metro Area Transit (MAT Bus) is the public bus system serving the greater Fargo Moorhead area. Operating Monday through Saturday, MAT offers 25 routes to provide area residents with affordable, quality transportation and excellent customer service. MAT also offers Paratransit services to provide transportation for people with disabilities who are unable to use the fixed route system; for more information on Paratransit, call 701.235.4464. U.S. Customs Port of Entry

Located at Hector International Airport, the U.S. Customs Port of Entry provides 24-hour customs clearance services to companies throughout the Fargo Moorhead area; International shipments are bonded directly to Fargo Moorhead and cleared by customs in a manner much more efficient than what is found at the congested coastal shipping ports. Unlike larger coastal ports, it is common for goods to arrive in the morning, clear Customs and be on the way to the factory floor by afternoon.

Foreign Trade Zone

The greater Fargo Moorhead area has a designated Foreign Trade Zone, which is an area considered to be outside the formal U.S. customs territory, while still under its supervision. Use of a Foreign Trade Zone can defer; delay or altogether eliminate U.S. Customs duties. Fargo Moorhead has attained foreign Trade zone status for the community allowing local and new businesses greater freedom and more opportunity to expand their businesses with international trade.

Otter Tail Valley Railroad is a shortline railroad serving rural communities throughout Clay County, MN. Red River Valley & Western Railroad is a shortline regional railroad serving rural communities throughout Cass County, ND.
