Annual Meeting
September

The Chamber's Annual Meeting brings together the leadership and membership of the Chamber to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and hear the vision for the future. This event recognizes Chamber volunteer leaders and features the presentation of the prestigious Legacy Leader Award. Attendees enjoy an excellent meal and first-class entertainment.

Business After Hours
Bi-monthly

Widely recognized as our region's most effective networking event, Business After Hours is a cost-effective way for Chamber members to reach a large audience and a great opportunity for individuals to make connections and develop new business relationships.

 

Chamber Challenge Golf
Outing and Social

July

Held annually in July, The Chamber Challenge Golf Outing and Social provides a unique opportunity to network and meet new professional and personal acquaintances. After a fun-filled day of golf and prizes, Chamber members gather for a golfer's social.

ChamberChoice Awards
Annually

ChamberChoice Awards recognize the important role businesses and not-for-profits play in our regional economy. The program consists of two events. The ChamberChoice Reception honors all nominees and features the announcement of the top companies in each category. The ChamberChoice Luncheon is the culmination of the program and features the presentation of the top award in each category. Attendees enjoy an excellent meal and a first-class speaker.

Chamber Training Programs
Monthly- September to May

Breakfast Buzz and Chamber Café are the Chamber's flagship training programs. These cost-effective seminars showcase member firm representatives who share their expertise and materials in areas of interest to our members. Topics cover current business trends and are discussed in small group settings.

Issues Forums

The Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead hosts special Public Affair Forums which focus on timely issues that are of interest to regional leaders, our members and the Fargo Moorhead community. These periodic events provide community and business leaders a greater understanding of specific issues affecting our region.

Fargo Moorhead Corporate Cup
May

The Fargo Moorhead Corporate Cup is a series of competitive events promoting physical fitness and friendly competition among the business community. Teams battle for points in activities such as volleyball, basketball, tug-o-war and more! This event is open to all employees and fitness levels.

Leadership Fargo Moorhead
Monthly- September to May

Fargo Moorhead Leadership promotes community leadership and professional skill building by developing knowledgeable, skilled leaders committed to growing professionally and personally in order to benefit their employers, their community and themselves. Participants meet one day a month for nine months to enhance their leadership skills, network with business and community leaders and learn more about the community and current issues.

Operation Thank You
January

Each January our gracious volunteers hand deliver over 1800 packets of new membership materials to member doorsteps. Through our volunteers, we personally thank you for your valuable contributions and continued support of our business community.

Regional Economic Outlook
Forum

January

The Chamber's Regional Economic Outlook Forum is a networking and informational breakfast designed to provide member firms and their employees up-to-date information about how the economy is affected by various industries. Past presentations have included agri-business, air service, arts and non-profits, construction, commercial development, community diversity, education, health care, manufacturing, real estate, retail trade, tourism, transportation and others.

Special Training
Periodically

Periodic special professional development events focus on timely issues and trends that are of interest to our members and the Fargo Moorhead business community. These events draw between 150 and 500 participants who see to enhance their employment skills and knowledge base. Sponsorship Benefits

State of the Cities
March

State of the Cities is a unique opportunity to hear overviews directly from top city leaders. Mayors from Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth and West Fargo review city accomplishments, outline future goals and objectives and take part in a panel discussion about current business and community issues and activities.

Young Professionals Network
Monthly

Designed to empower our new generation of leaders by teaching them critical business skills and introducing them to community leaders and other young professionals. Through training programs and networking socials, the YPN program enhances the professional development of our young professionals and helps retain them in our region.

Youth Leadership
Monthly- August to December

Youth Leadership is designed to acquaint high school sophomores and juniors with the community, develop and enhance leadership skills, provide opportunities to network with business and community leaders and encourage young people to remain in, or return to, our region. Students participate in a Pay It Forward bus tour in partnership with Students Today Leaders Forever to instill teamwork and civic engagement.
