Fargo/Moorhead - The Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead has been honored as one of the top three chambers of commerce of its size in the nation by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
The designation qualifies the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead as a candidate for ACCE’s premier Chamber of the Year award, which recognizes up to four chambers (one in each of four size categories) nationwide for excellence in operations, member services and community leadership.
Applying and qualifying to win the Chamber of the Year award involves a multi-stage process. The final stage will take Chamber President and CEO David K. Martin and Member Relations Coordinator Dori Reich to Sacramento, Calif., in August to interview with an ACCE panel of judges.
ACCE has also honored the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead with the Award for Communications Excellence for its 2005-06 annual report, Building Bridges. To request a copy, call 218.233.1100.
“The Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead is one of the most successful chambers in the entire country and it is rewarding to have that fact recognized at a national level,” said Martin. “We work hard on behalf of our members, metropolitan community and region every day, proudly serving our members in Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth and West Fargo, Cass and Clay Counties and beyond. Our success would not be possible without them, our board of directors, our dedicated staff and our many wonderful member volunteers.”
ACCE is a national association uniquely serving individuals involved in the management of chambers of all sizes. ACCE's mission is to support and develop chamber professionals to lead businesses and their communities.
