The Chamber hosts a variety of exceptional events, each offering unique opportunities to employees of Chamber-member firms. Cost-effective educational programs develop the professional, personal and leadership skills of member-employees. Networking events facilitate connections with thousands of others in the business community.

Our hour-long training programs deliver practical business information to fit into your busy schedule. These high-quality, low cost, workshops feature local business experts who present tried and true business concepts as well as new and innovative ideas to help you increase your business success!
Networking Opportunities
A strong referral network is the result of developing relationships with a variety of people. Business After Hours is the region’s most effective networking opportunity, bringing together hundreds of diverse Chamber members every other month for a Chamber-member trade show. Many smaller networking opportunities are provided throughout the year as well. All Chamber events are networking events!
The Chamber periodically hosts special professional development events, focusing on timely issues and trends that are of interest to employee of Chamber-member firms and the Fargo Moorhead region and featuring nationally recognized speakers and trainers.
Fargo Moorhead Leadership is a nine-month program which offers participants the opportunity to meet with business and community leaders and discuss the issues they tackle, develop a network of professional and personal contacts and explore critical leadership styles vital to any successful professional or community initiative.
Youth Leadership is a program of the Chamber designed to acquaint high school sophomores and juniors with the community, develop and enhance leadership skills, provide opportunities to network with business and community leaders and encourage young people to remain in or return to our region
As part of the Chamber’s initiative to serve as the primary advocate for member businesses on local and regional issues, several special events are held throughout the year designed to provide community and business leaders a greater understanding of specific issues affecting the Fargo Moorhead region and the organizations that are in place working on solutions.
This program focuses on developing professional and personal networks, entrepreneurship, business training and attracting and retaining talent in the region. The Chamber’s Young Professionals Network is an innovative program designed to provide opportunities for young professionals to develop the skills they need to succeed in their professional lives.
