The Bremer Pay It Forward Chamber Tour got off to a great start with everyone getting to know each other on the bus.
Just got off the phone with Kyle, one of the great college leaders with our Youth Leadership students on their Pay It Forward service tour. It sounds like the Starion bus is having a great first day on the road … here are just a few highlights.

At first I didn’t think I would make many friends and I’ll just do the work and go back to my boring plain life. But this tour, your kids, made it possible for me to say, “I want to better myself.” Change isn’t a bad thing, it made me better, and it can help many more people that are in need to feel better.
We came together as complete strangers on a bus tour across North Dakota, and we became a family. We are all special, and because of our openness we each contributed something priceless to the growth and development of this year’s program: ourselves.
Instead of just trying to fix the problem of hunger, we are creating awareness and raising a generation of leaders by engaging elementary schools and younger students within our high schools.
As the students and parents started to pull into the parking lot and the lawn began to fill up with sleeping bags and pillows, my heart started to race, it was finally happening.
