At first I didn’t think I would make many friends and I’ll just do the work and go back to my boring plain life. But this tour, your kids, made it possible for me to say, “I want to better myself.” Change isn’t a bad thing, it made me better, and it can help many more people that are in need to feel better.

We came together as complete strangers on a bus tour across North Dakota, and we became a family. We are all special, and because of our openness we each contributed something priceless to the growth and development of this year’s program: ourselves.

We wrapped up our time in Minot with a trip to the Scandanavian Park. After a quick downpour we were able to do some exploring, what a beautiful area! We hit up the downtown for a creative project with a local business, and students were able to do some mosaic art and tile painting.

At the Domestic Abuse and Crisis Center, we had our work cut out for us. They needed their entire office buildining interior painted. They busted out gallons and gallons of paint, and the students went right to work.
